A couple of days before my birthday, my dad decided to have a father-son day together. We started by eating breakfast at Gardners Market, and then we walked to the courthouse and raced Hot Wheels down the ramps. By that time, we were a bit cold, so we headed to Dad’s workplace and played a computer game for a couple hours. Dad had some shopping to do, so we went over to a shoe store and bought some boots for me. Then we went to some other stores and finally rounded off our day by eating at a Chinese buffet. I enjoyed our day together, and was glad that Dad was able to hang out with me. It made a nice prelude to my birthday.
